The CEGA SSS-300/400 5AXP is distinguished by its high-rigidity, bridge-type mono-block structure, enabling high-speed and high-precision machining with minimal distance between the guide surface and spindle center, ensuring enhanced stability.

The bed's high rigidity, combined with an optimal rib distribution, ensures static positioning accuracy of ±0.000039” and ±0.000020” repeatability. With a versatile spindle speed range of (200 – 30,000 RPM) at 20HP or (200 – 40,000 RPM) with a 7.4HP motor, facilitated by an oil-mist lubricated spindle and a long-life AC motor, the CEGA SSS-300/400 5AXP supports high-speed direct hard milling through dry or semi-dry oil-mist systems.

Utilizing an integrated Tsudakoma 2-axis high precision Worm-Drive table featuring a 5.9” (150mm) diameter faceplate, the CEGA SSS transforms into a full 5-axis simultaneous micro-accuracy machining center.
